We invited so many professional companies, professors and experts to the annual meeting. The content shared by all of us focused on the theme of reducing and replacing antibiotics. This is the general trend, the pressure and the challenge we must face.
Antibiotics and growth promoting agents have promoted the production of meat, egg and milk in China in the past few decades. The total level of meat, egg and milk per capita in China has reached the top 10 in the world. China's per capita GDP ranks about 79th in the world. We are a poor country that eats more and eats better. This is the result of the joint efforts of animal husbandry experts, practitioners and feed producers. Quantity satisfaction is particularly important. Without quantity, we can't talk about quality. If we don't eat enough, we can't be picky. Only when we eat well can we be in good health. In the past 20 years, the average life expectancy of China has been extended by 5 years, and it is very difficult to prolong the life expectancy by 5 years. Our scientific and technological level has been advancing by leaps and bounds, and the number of papers has been ranked the first in the world for five consecutive years. The number of invention patents each year accounts for 26.9% of the world's annual total, which also means that China has become a big country of wisdom. On the other hand, China is no longer the sick man of East Asia in various sports events. In the Olympic Games, we are either the first or the second, and the worst is not out of the top three.
Today's report made by all experts is a very good idea promotion for Liaoning feed workers, and also provides an attempt to explore their own alternative antibiotics. I am both an entrepreneur and an intellectual. After listening to what you said, I can't help asking questions. I think there is room for improvement and further improvement. If it was me ten years ago, it would be very difficult for you to finish speaking and would be questioned on the spot. You may be defeated here. I'd like to start with three suggestions for the lecturer.
The first suggestion is to strengthen the study of basic medical knowledge. If you report on behalf of the company and your products, it is inevitable that there will be a tendency, but it can not violate the basic principles and principles of science. You must strengthen your study of basic knowledge. What to learn? I think most of you study nutrition. If you want to talk about the topic of substituting antibiotics, you must learn from veterinarians and have medical knowledge. If you don't have medical knowledge, you will be naive and ridiculous. I was a good student of veterinary medicine at that time, but at that time, immunology only talked about a little skin, most of the immune theories were hypotheses, humoral immunity still had some concepts, and cellular immunity was basically fragmented and had no system. In recent years, I was learning immunity again. However, the students who study animal husbandry and animal science do not have enough basic veterinary knowledge. You don't understand what inflammation is and what is allergy. In fact, inflammation and allergy are also immune reactions. Allergy is allergic immune reaction. There are at least four types of allergy. When you don't understand these basic concepts and principles, you can only talk to the old people who don't have knowledge and culture, and can't really promote the industry's fight for change.
The second suggestion is that you should strengthen the study of chemistry. As a lecture expert, you should not be able to ask questions in the field of what you are talking about. You can answer questions freely. As animal nutrition experts, you should learn chemistry well. If chemistry is not good, we can't talk about nutrition. Nutrition is not only protein, carbohydrate and fat, but also not limited to amino acids, vitamins, fatty acids, enzymes and so on. They are all organically linked. The understanding of them should be at the molecular level, and the understanding at the molecular level needs the help of chemistry. Therefore, if we want to do nutrition, we should learn biochemistry well; if we want to do biochemistry, we should learn to have In order to fully understand organic chemistry, we should learn general chemistry well; if we want to really learn all chemistry well, we should first learn physics; if we want to do well in physics, we should also have mathematical foundation. Mathematics is fire, lighting the lamp of physics; the lamp of physics lights up the road of chemistry; the road of chemistry lets us know everything. If you don't understand this, it's only superficial. Of course, what you have said is very meaningful, including how to do various methods, but these can only be classified in the field of Applied Science and application. Comparatively speaking, Dr. Lu Jirong spoke very well this morning. She was very clever. She did not talk about the specious issues, but only the principles related to Anti Japanese movement. Every principle she said was right and explained thoroughly. Dr. Lu said Acidifiers reduce food intake. Why? Acid is associated with pain and is sensed by the trigeminal nerve. The third suggestion is to be logical. Besides the knowledge of natural science, logic is very important. The last doctor's company is called Edison. Why is it called Edison? I think it's because your company's English name is idea for animal feed. However, the homophony "aidifor" only represents the first half of the company's name, and does not fully express the English name of your company. Also, why do you use "for animal feed" in the second half? Is "for animal health" better? The name of "conprid", the company of the previous speakers, is more logical. Complide is the homonym of the company's English name completed. Complete digestion not only digests in the body, but also digests it for you in advance, so as to make the nutrition eat dry and squeeze out. Logic is reflected in all aspects, not only your products, but also people with good logic can do everything reliably.
You may not agree with me when I talk like this. What kind of cattle do you have? I'm really nothing. I love learning a little bit. Knowledge is power. It gives strength not only to me, but to all. I think a high-ranking official may not want his son to be an official; a very rich person may not make his son rich, but all people, whether poor or rich, whether expensive or cheap, want their children to read and want their children to have knowledge.
Knowledge is endless. It takes a lifetime to learn and acquire. Of course, if you can give lectures on the stage, you are quite knowledgeable. For the ordinary audience, your knowledge is enough. But today, as president of Liaoning feed Association, I hope your knowledge will be more refined, more accurate, more logical, more solid, and more practical.
Well, I would also like to make a brief comment on these substitution schemes you proposed.
You think antibiotics are valuable and valuable. This point is very good, we can not blindly deny antibiotics, antibiotics are the merits of mankind, is our benefactor. Now the abuse of antibiotics has polluted the environment and threatened people's health. So what can replace antibiotics? You have your own thinking.
You also have a common understanding that the environment must be good and clean. There is no doubt that it is better than any other way to do environmental and biological safety.
What you neglect is the active immunization represented by vaccines. The improvement of immunity level may be more effective than replacing products with other products. However, people still don't fully understand immunization, and it's not good to have a high level of immunity. I think people are most comfortable and happy when their immune level is low. Europeans and Americans die after eating vegetables contaminated with Salmonella because their immune levels are too low. If the Chinese eat it, it will not be a problem if the Indian eat it. Because our environment is not sanitary enough, the antigen and antibody in the body are fighting every day. A lot of nutrition is consumed in the fight against pathogenic microorganisms. The disease resistance is strong, but the physical fitness is not as good as others. Therefore, the health of people with low antibody level is relatively healthy. Immune level is low, usually do not contact with pathogenic microorganisms, so people run fast, have strength, play basketball, football, everything is strong. High immune level is not good, so it is not good to use too many vaccines. The more backward, poorer and unsanitary countries, the more vaccines are used.
You also have a basic consensus on what to replace antibiotics, one is acidifier, the other is plant essential oil, spices and so on, and there is a very high concentration of metal ions, such as zinc oxide. You have just introduced the scientific basis and practical effectiveness of these three schemes. Now I would like to focus on the limitations of these schemes so that you can understand them when you listen to them.
The first option is to replace antibiotics with Acidifiers. Where do Acidifiers kill bacteria? If we sterilize the gastrointestinal tract, why don't we make the feed cleaner? Acidifiers need to lower the pH value of gastric contents to 3.5 or even lower in order to effectively activate pepsinogen to pepsin. Will this lead to premature opening of the pylorus and shorten gastric digestion, and how many Acidifiers should be added to achieve such a low pH level? Gastric digestion is important but not important, because it is only primary digestion. 90% of nutrient digestion and absorption is not in the stomach but in the intestine, especially in the small intestine. So if you over acidify the chyme in the stomach in order to improve the digestion of the stomach, it may damage the intestinal digestion. Is it true? So, how do you need to digest the neutral acid in the small intestine? How can trypsin, chymotrypsin and trypsin play a role in digestion if they are neutral and alkaline? How to make the chyme neutral? It is neutralized by the basic bile acid salt in bile. Where does bile come from? It is produced by liver metabolism. Why produce bile? A large number of our damaged cells and aging red blood cells have to spit out the old and absorb the new. They are constantly metabolized by the liver and discharged into the small intestine in the form of bile and discharged to the body through the digestive tract. Even if we do not need bile, we have to drain out. This is the source of bile. Life is very wonderful. Bile is not only a waste but also a treasure. Alkaline bile acid salt discharged into the duodenum turns the acid food in the stomach into alkali. If it becomes alkaline, trypsin, chymotrypsin and lipase can play a role. Therefore, it is the environmental condition creator for improving the digestion capacity of your intestine. This is normal digestive physiology, but you need a lot of bile if you want to add a lot of acid. If you need too much bile, it will aggravate the burden of the liver. Bile also needs material sources. How can there be so many cells to metabolize? So is it feasible to increase exogenous acid unilaterally? infeasible.
In addition, the acid is best used in the stomach, but not in the small intestine. When it comes to the rear part of the intestine, it can be acidified to kill harmful bacteria. This requires a complex coating process. It is required to release acid immediately in the stomach, coated in the small intestine without releasing acid, and then open to release acid in the large intestine and colon. In fact, our body has a buffer system, which makes it impossible for us to make a wide range of pH changes in our body.
People who don't know scientific knowledge say, "you are acidic, and you don't eat meat well. You should eat more vegetables and become alkaline." The possibility of acid change is impossible. Therefore, the application of acid must be carefully considered.
Second, high concentration metal ions were used instead of antibiotics to inhibit pathogenic microorganisms. Now it is said that zinc oxide is good, but if you have more than 20 years of experience, you will know how zinc can rank in the past? (of course, the premise at that time was to allow the use of a variety of antibiotics). At that time, high copper was used more widely, and the effect was better. The copper ion was so strong that the pig skin was red and bright without diarrhea and grew very fast. But I think that if zinc and copper are high enough to kill bacteria, pigs must be uncomfortable. Who dares to eat such a high level of zinc (in order to control diarrhea, the amount of zinc used in the first two weeks after weaning is 2250ppm, which will be reduced to 1600ppm in 2018, but only 110ppm is needed from the perspective of nutritional satisfaction). What's more, it is equivalent to feeding weaned piglets and piglets, which is equivalent to feeding infants! Therefore, this is definitely not a scientific, rational and safe method. Moreover, if antibiotics can remain, these metal ions will be more difficult to eliminate and will never be eliminated. They are either in the excrement or in the tissues of the body, which are certainly harmful to human beings.
The third alternative is to use essential oils or spices, including oregano oil, thymol and cinnamaldehyde. Is that ok? It should be said that this is not a progress of human cognition, but an old way. In the past, human beings began to use these spices to sterilize, preserve and cover up the bad smell because they could not preserve the food and prevent the food from becoming moldy and rotten. Therefore, Europeans now eat a traditional food called Gingerbread before and after Christmas. In the middle ages, only nobles could eat gingerbread. Now people still send Gingerbread on Christmas day, that is, putting ginger in baked cakes. Is that delicious? poor taste. Ginger and other oriental spices have anti mildew, anti-oxidation and spicy flavor, which can be used by rich people. At that time, it was a good way to use spices such as ginger, fennel, cinnamon and so on to keep food from spoiling, but the effect of these things on microbial control was too weak. It was not until the advent of antibiotics that all these things were not easy to use. Now that we don't need antibiotics, we turn back to look for those things. Therefore, we should know that this is the course of human antibacterial evolution. Antibiotics are like missiles that only attack pathogens, and these things, like chemical weapons, exert negative effects on all living cells and are essentially harmful to human life. What can contain bacteria and other microorganisms is also harmful to human and animal cells. Why do we need antibiotics? It is better to let the body suffer some losses than to let the disease spread. You know, one of the most common indicators of antibiotic efficacy is that thinning the intestinal wall is effective. Why is intestinal wall thinning effective? Because the intestinal wall is always in contact with pathogenic microorganisms and antigens under normal environmental conditions, there is allergic immune response, so the normal intestinal wall always has mild inflammation. Because you contain the pathogenic microorganisms, the inflammation disappears, and the intestinal wall becomes thinner; the intestinal wall becomes thinner, and the central chylous duct of intestinal villi widens, and the nutrient absorption rate increases.
To make our environment better and improve the safety and cleanliness of feed raw materials is the fundamental solution to ban antibiotics. In this process, there must be a transition. Your plan is an expedient and transitional means to minimize the two evils. These measures are effective and necessary at this stage, but they seem to be imperfect.
